Solange DaSilva-Iwansson’s dedication to mobile dental hygiene makes quality oral care more accessible and convenient for individuals who may struggle to visit a traditional dental office.
Compassionate Care Backed by Experience
A native of Brazil, Solange discovered her passion for dentistry at just seventeen. This passion has been the driving force behind her professional journey. She began her education at Mesa College, earning an associate degree in science as a dental assistant. After honing her skills as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for eight years, she pursued further education in dental hygiene, ultimately obtaining her Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene. The challenges posed by COVID-19 only strengthened her resolve, inspiring her to return to school and complete her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
Determined to advance her skills
Beyond clinical practice, Solange has also served as a professional educator for Waterpik, deepening her expertise in oral health and patient care. Committed to expanding her impact, she pursued advanced training at California Northstate University College of Dental Medicine, earning her Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP) Certificate in 2023.
This specialized training enables her to serve patients with unique needs, including individuals with dental anxiety, the elderly, and those with special needs areas where she felt she could make the most significant difference.

Solange founded Solange Mobile Smiles to bring high-quality dental hygiene care directly to those who need it most — including seniors, homebound individuals, and those living in assisted or skilled nursing facilities.
Her care philosophy is simple: deliver gentle, personalized services in a way that’s respectful, accessible, and affordable.
In addition to serving as a clinical hygienist, Solange also works as a professional educator for Waterpik, sharing her expertise to promote better oral care practices at home.
